Pivlice lakes, Croatia.
There was something quite spectacular about Plitvice.. The colors, the constant stream of water that seemed to come from everywhere.
This photo is about the water too, although you can't quite see it. See, my brother, the adventurous person that he is, decided to put his feet in the sacred lake water, although it was forbidden. He's hiding in the wild surroundings ;)

There is something about this shot that I like that I can't quite pinpoint yet.
It could be that it feels like the boy is walking back in harsh water from the deepest corner of a forest.
It could also be that the Bosphorus is right behind him, ready to take him.
But I like it, hope you do too.

You know you're back from vacation, truly, when you've posted your first photo.
Well, I think this scenery is one of the most vivid memories I have of Croatia.

For those who know Montreal, I work in Place Ville Marie. And on my way to work in the morning, there usually is a gentleman in the PVM courtyard that practises his morning Tai Chi.
Imagine my excitement when I heard there would be a whole bunch more in the Bund in Shanghai, if I woke up early enough. Here is a little assembly of what I captured that Saturday morning.

I was on a work trip recently, litterally halfway around the world.
Steps from my hotel, was this view. It really doesn't get better sometimes.

Me and a couple friends went on a trip recently. It was a good trip, needless to say :).
And at a very precise moment during that trip, while we were just hanging out in the hotel room, I realised the light coming in from the hotel window was just right. The riahi brothers agreed to be my models at that point :).

I dare not call myself a photographer yet, but I do do have the problem.
